Yucatecan Food
Trips10/04/2017Did you know that Yucatecan food is named a cultural heritage by UNESCO? (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).
Traditional Yucatecan food consists mostly of a mixture of spices, with the main meats being pork, turkey, and corn dough. Cochinita pibil, panuchos, lime soup, or stuffed cheese are just some of the hundreds of dishes you can taste.
Among the main places where you can enjoy these delicious dishes is Valladolid, a colonial city located in the east of the Yucatan Peninsula, also named a "Pueblo Mágico" (Magic Town), one of the cities that has managed to preserve its cultural and historical wealth, the charm of this town being the second most important in the state.
What are you waiting for to try one of the most delicious gastronomic resources in Mexico?
We invite you to enjoy our Yucatecan Food Festival every Thursday at breakfast time at Royal Solaris Cancun.
