Cancun hotel zone aerial view with Solaris: Corporativa, turquoise waters, and white sand beaches.

The dazzling city of Cancun is full of incredible hotels, white sand beaches and turquoise waters, world-class restaurants, and a wide variety of entertainment during the day and, of course, at night.

With so many things to see, it is no surprise that this city is one of the most popular places in the world. The famous Cancun Hotel Zone spans about 23 kilometers between the Caribbean Sea and the Nichupte Lagoon.

Most of the best attractions in Cancun are just minutes away from our beautiful hotels, Royal Solaris Cancun, GR Caribe by Solaris, and GR Solaris Cancun. Do not miss the excitement and glamour of this destination and visit the best spots.

Here we provide some of our favorite places to visit now on your incredible vacation with us:

If you like history and culture, 10 minutes (or less) from our hotels there are 3 magical places where you can learn a little more about our Mayan culture:

EL REY RUINS: located less than 5 minutes by bus from the city. It represents the remains of an ancient Mayan city, abandoned after the arrival of the Spanish colonizers. A small fee is charged at the entrance, and it is open to the public every day, except for Sundays, when admission is free.

MAYA MUSEUM/ SAN MIGUELITO ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE: just 10 minutes from our beautiful hotels, we can find this interesting museum, where in addition to admiring the different exhibition halls, you can also visit the archaeological site located inside, known as San Miguelito. The entrance fee is 57 Mexican pesos, except for children under 13 and adults over 60.

Regarding the gastronomy that it encompasses, we have several places where you can have a good breakfast, a perfect lunch, or a romantic dinner by moonlight; we recommend visiting Plaza La Isla, which is located 15 minutes away by any bus.

This open-air plaza is inspired by the city of Venice, with water channels, beautiful fountains, and charming streets. You can enjoy a delicious meal at any of the restaurants, many of which are outdoors, which is a perfect setting for cocktails or a memorable dinner, in addition to a wide variety of shops, souvenirs, and boutiques.

But if you love marine animals, you will find the "Interactive Aquarium" where you will get to know the different species found in the area and admire the beautiful dolphin show.

There is also Punta Cancun, which is considered the heart of the city; here are the Coral Negro market, the famous Plaza Caracol, Plaza Forum, and various restaurants.

For people who like nightlife, the lively area known as the "Party Center" is also located in Punta Cancun, with the city's main nightclubs, bars, and restaurants, such as Coco Bongo, The City, Dady'O, Señor Frog's, Carlos & Charlie's, among others.

That is why you have to start planning your next vacation to have an unforgettable stay in paradise, while you explore the beautiful city of Cancun and enjoy the vacation you always dreamed of by staying at Solaris Hotels of Mexico - Cancun.
