The End of the Earth and the Meeting of the Seas

ViajesTrips12/06/2017
Iconic El Arco arch at Land's End, Los Cabos. Experience Solaris: Corporativa.

The Sea of Cortez, also known as the Gulf of California, is an extension of the Pacific Ocean located between the Baja California peninsula and the states of Sinaloa and Sonora.

The tides of this gulf are among the highest on the planet, with fluctuations of up to nine meters measured at its northern end. It enjoys an immense concentration of microscopic organisms and extraordinary biological diversity thanks to abundant sunlight and nutrient-rich waters. These factors, along with its crystal-clear waters, led to this place being called "The Aquarium of the World".

The favorite destination for hundreds of tourists visiting the Sea of Cortez region is Los Cabos, a spectacular nautical corridor that connects San José del Cabo with Cabo San Lucas. It is in this place where visitors meet who are looking to have a pleasant rest or those who are looking for the opportunity to practice sailing, windsurfing, and feel the thrill of diving, and not to mention those who come for the simple pleasure of admiring the magnificent view that nature offers us at El Arco, the unique rock formation that distinguishes Los Cabos; from where the Sea of Cortez bids farewell to its visitors, who will surely return to this region where reality exceeds imagination.

El Arco is the gateway to the ocean and has a majestic appearance, with reminiscences of another world. El Arco was formed by time, by the erosion caused by the force of the winds and the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.

This part of the Baja California peninsula is also known as "The End of the Earth" and is one of the main attractions of Los Cabos.

El Arco has a beautiful view, perfect for capturing the best photographs and, of course, unforgettable moments. In addition, you will be able to see infinite marine animals in a charming gathering at any time you go.

If you wish to visit this magnificent piece of organic architecture, you should know that it is inaccessible to reach by land, but you will be able to do so through one of the most requested tours by international tourism.

At Sol-Ha, our tour agency inside the hotel, you can find information about the different tours we offer to El Arco, which are designed especially for those who want to enjoy a spectacular tour around one of the most famous beaches in Los Cabos, El Médano Beach; swim a little, eat a fresh and delicious Mexican buffet and drinks to your liking, whether for the day, or to enjoy a unique sunset.

If you are interested in scheduling a tour to "El Arco", we recommend going directly to our Sol-Ha agency or sending an email to oswaldo@hotelessolaris.com, who is in charge of our tour agency.

Live one of the best experiences of your life!
