Did you know that it is estimated that in Mexico 1 in 115 children has autism, and that in 2007 the UN designated April 2nd of each year as World Autism Awareness Day?

Often we hear the word autism or see a person with this disorder and we don't know what to say or how to act; that is why it is important to inform ourselves, learn, and get involved.

We shouldn't be afraid, and much less stay away; we simply must inform ourselves and understand that we human beings are all different and that is exactly what makes us wonderful and unique.

If your child knows someone with autism, invite them to socialize with him; we assure you that both will learn many enriching things from each other. A child with autism can play, laugh, and enjoy life just like all children; you just have to approach them and take a moment to observe in order to understand life… to understand their life.
