History, magic and culture in Todos Santos
Solaris Hotels18/11/2017There are many unmarked roads in Baja California Sur, Mexico. You see them from the smooth highway that connects the sleepy town of Todos Santos with the shining resorts of Los Cabos, an hour to the south, with their dusty trails carving mysterious paths through fields dotted with tall cacti. They look a bit intimidating, but as they say, "when you see a dirt road in Baja California, you should take it. There is always something interesting on the other side."
The vibrant and active town of Todos Santos was initially founded as a mission in 1724.
Todos Santos has long been special. The church, theater, cultural center, museum, and many historic buildings are often open to the public, especially during the Historic Homes Tour.
Surfing has a long history in Baja California culture, and Playa Cerritos, located about 20 minutes south of the city, is undoubtedly the most popular beach for both beginners and experts.
It is also a destination for our visiting whales.
The restaurants are very popular and serve creative cuisine with organic products. Fishermen offer fresh seafood every day. The ecology of this oasis and the magnificent Sierra Laguna mountains are the subject of many paintings, photographs, and souvenirs.
On your next visit to Royal Solaris Los Cabos, don't forget to plan a trip to Todos Santos and live a magical experience!
