Where are the Royal Solaris all inclusive vacation resorts?
Royal Solaris Los Cabos is located at the Royal Solaris Hotel in San Jose del Cabo, one of the principal resort areas of Los Cabos (the capes), a large municipality spanning the tip of the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico. Los Cabos includes the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo; and a 20-mile-long area between the two towns known as the Tourist Corridor. Royal Solaris Cancun is located at the Royal Solaris Caribe Hotel in Cancun, a sophisticated international Caribbean resort city on the northeastern tip of Mexico´s Yucatan peninsula, in the state of Quintana Roo. Cancun´s 30-kilometer-long oceanfront Hotel Zone is separated from the city by lagoons and joined to the mainland by two bridges at each end of the zone.
Are your vacation clubs air-conditioned?
Yes, at our locations all rooms and suites are air-conditioned, as well as the lobby; Salon Tehuacan and all salons; the gym and beauty salon; the spa (facilities in Los Cabos only); and all of our indoor restaurants.
Does Royal Solaris offer round trip airport transportation?
Please check with your travel agent to confirm if airport transfers are included in your package. Royal Solaris Special Packages and Getaways do include transportation from the airport to Royal Solaris. Return transportation is provided if you stay a minimum of six nights and you are departing on a Saturday.
Will I need to rent a car while I am at Royal Solaris?
That depends on what want to do during your stay. Taxis are available at the resorts. Modern, affordable public buses run from San Jose del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas through the Tourist Corridor every 20 minutes until 10 p.m. daily. In Cancun, inexpensive public buses run along the Hotel Zone 24-hours a day and are an easy way to see the area without getting lost. Royal Solaris also has sightseeing tours and excursions throughout the area. If you wish to rent a car to explore on your own, see the car rental representative in the lobby of each resort or make prior arrangements through your travel agent.
Should I change dollars to pesos before I go?
Dollars can be exchanged at the front desk of Royal Solaris resorts, and at money exchange kiosks and banks throughout Los Cabos and Cancun. However, withdrawing from your ATM card (cash will be dispensed in pesos) is suggested for a higher rate of exchange. Almost all tourist establishments accept dollars in smaller denominations but exchange rates may not be as favorable as an ATM.
Are credit cards accepted?
Yes, Visa, Master Card and American Express are widely accepted within the tourist areas of both destinations. Discover Card is accepted in Cancun´s Hotel Zone. Credit cards may not be accepted in smaller stores and restaurants or off the beaten track, so bring along some pesos or dollars in small denominations, just in case.
What travel documents do I need?
A valid passport or other acceptable proof of citizenship a certified birth certificate, voter's registration card, naturalization papers or a notarized affidavit of citizenship are required to enter and exit Mexico. Save your visa copy; you ll need to present it at the airport when checking in for your flight home. U.S. and Canadian citizens may be required to produce a valid passport upon return. Check with your travel agent. Parents traveling alone with children must produce a notarized letter of consent from the absent parent in order to depart from and return to their country of origin. There are no exceptions to this requirement.

Is the water safe to drink?
Hotel Royal Solaris and all major hotels and restaurants in Los Cabos and Cancun use purified water. When in doubt ask for bottled water. Drinking tap water outside the resort is not recommended.
Do I need to speak Spanish in Los Cabos or Cancun?
No, most people in tourist services at both destinations speak English. If you plan to venture outside the tourist areas, take along a Spanish-English phrasebook or dictionary just in case.
What is the legal drinking age in Mexico?
You must be 18 years of age to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages in Mexico. Please remember that drinking in public is against the law.
What beverages does the Royal Solaris all-inclusive plan includes?
Our all-inclusive plan features a wide variety of domestic drinks, including fresh juices, soft drinks, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails and other spirits.
What activities are included at Royal Solaris?
We feature a wide array of sports complete with modern equipment and many daily organized activities most of them family oriented from our Kids Club with mini pool and play areas to couples contests, pool events and live entertainment at night. In Cancun, non-motorized water sports are also included.
Are there tennis courts at Royal Solaris?
Yes, and tennis racquets and balls are provided, unless you prefer to bring your own. We also have a basketball court and beach volleyball.
What's not included in the Royal Solaris all-inclusive plan?
All spa treatments, massages, beauty salon services, golf, fishing and off-site tours and excursions (unless explicitly stated as a package inclusion), baby-sitting services, tobacco shop and boutique purchases are not included.
How far is the beach from each Royal Solaris resort?
Royal Solaris locations are oceanfront resorts. A long, sandy beach is just steps from your suite. Royal Solaris Los Cabos fronts the Sea of Cortez while Royal Solaris Cancun and GRSolaris are on the Caribbean Sea.
Does Royal Solaris provide beach towels?
Yes. Beach towels may be signed out near the pools. After checking in, visit Guest Services for the exact location at each resort.
Does Royal Solaris Los Cabos have a swimming beach?
While our expansive pools are perfect for swimming, it is not recommended in front of Royal Solaris Los Cabos. However, Los Cabos has ideal swimming beaches close to Royal Solaris. Visit Guest Services for area maps and locations. Or sign up for a snorkeling tour.
Can I get my laundry done at Royal Solaris?
